Zaharra Myers

Zaharra is a retired Registered Nurse with a big heart for service to people and others. She got water baptized at the age of 70 in First Assembly of God Church in New Rochelle, New York by Pastor Aubyn Barnaby. Zaharra is currently leading a bible study group at the Garito Manor senior residence in New Rochelle, where she resides.

Zaharra joined Harmony of Praise Christian Ministry after she met Sis. Nedi, who was working in the administration office of Garito Manor. Zaharra feels Sis. Nedi is a consistent and loving messenger of the Lord to senior residents and their families and has been a vessel of Jesus’ love in Garito Manor since 2014.

As a result, Zaharra joined the Harmony of Praise during its establishment in 2016, became the ministry’s secretary and subsequently joined the 2018 mission trip to Cebu, Philippines.
